LETS GO RIDING...
The group transport arrives and all the excited occupants are gathered around our meeting area. The students are welcomed to the park by the staff involved and given a briefing on procedures and how exactly the day is going to run.
Safety is of utmost concern and it is required of everyone in the group to be present at the safety briefing. Bikes and helmets will be distributed and instruction will be offered for anyone who has concerns about how to operate the bikes.
The students are given an extensive safety outline so that they are well aware of all known potential hazards they may come across whilst riding. Woodhill Mountain Bike Park and its staff regards the safety of it’s patrons a very high priority.Instruction is given on how to minimise the risk of damage to ones self and to others. Helmets are all sized and fitted for each rider and bikes are distributed to everyone.
If suitable, one large group may be split into two small groups, allowing all a better experience. Then we go riding... YAY!

PRE RIDE SAFETY
All park staff are experienced mountain bike riders. If there is any doubt in the abilities of the group, the easy way is the best way, and staff will let riders know if it's not in their best interests to ride a particular trail.
THE IMPORTANCE OF SAFETY
A lot of time and effort by our experienced staff has been put into making sure our park meets and exceeds all Health and Safety requirements of the Health & Safety Act 1992.
All of our trails are regularly checked for hazards that may cause injury or harm.
The structures that are in the park are all built to strict specifications and are certified by quality engineers on a regular basis for your safety.
Our senior staff have attended and passed advanced first aid courses and in some cases pre hospital emergency care and are therefore very well equipped to deal with any accident that may occur within the park.
Woodhill Mountain Bike Park has done everything that can be done to minimise any risk to you and your group. Mountain Biking is an extremely enjoyable and addictive sport but as with all sports carries its own range of possible risks.
If at any time one of your group feels unsafe or unsure of his or her abilities, your guide or our staff are always available to talk to about any concerns you have.
Every one of our hire bikes are serviced regularly to make sure they are in top working order.
All the trails are well sign posted for directions and trail names and every obstacle is visibly graded from one ‘X’ for easy to five ‘X’s for only very experienced riders. All users of the park are required by law to wear a quality helmet.
